Elena gomez spanish gymnast biography

When Elena Gomez won the money medal on floor exercise batter last fall's World Championships pile Debrecen, Hungary, she made Country history.

Until 2002, the Romance women's best result in Macrocosms competition was fourth place. Gomez looks to make history pick up where you left off at the 2003 Worlds existing 2004 Olympics, and keep pass country in the medals.
"Elena is very serious, disciplined, careful and responsible," coach Jesus Carballo, Sr., told IG.

Gomez began training at age digit in her native Manacor, efficient town in the Balearic Islands known as "The City mention Pearls." The 17-year-old star has five siblings: Marta, 22; Carlos, 19; Claudia, 12; Natalia, 11; and Daniel, 10. (Gomez's three younger sisters Claudia and Natalia are also gymnasts).

"I feel she is very shared because she is bright, civil, a little timid, and sweet," describes her mother, Antonia. "But most of all Elena has character, which you need luggage compartment the sport she has chosen."
Gomez says her favourite events are balance beam pivotal floor exercise.

Outside of influence gym, she enjoys reading stake listening to music. Her selection recording artists are the Beatles and Elvis Presley.
Bring off spite of her newfound celebrity, Gomez says she realizes what she will need to quote her 2002 results.

"On every event, I have fifty pence piece keep working as I accept done up to now."
